There is a huge CPU performance difference between Balanced and High Performance modes on the Razer Blade Pro 17

Strangely enough, the Razer Blade Pro 17 is set to Balanced mode by default instead of High Performance. The problem is that High Performance mode offers significantly faster CPU clock rates than Balanced mode and it's not entirely self-explanatory on how to set the system to High Performance mode. Users must rely on the Razer Synapse software and not the Windows Power Options menu that we're all already familiar with.

The process you described to turn on high performance mode seems rather simple and I don't get what you're complaining about.

So are the scores revised?

It's too many steps if you need to change them multiple times a day.

I cannot help but wonder whether you realised this on your RB15 reviews?

It's funny, I imagine if you had, you would have taken fan noise readings with gaming mode enabled, and I would never have considered buying one of these things.

I very much hope you take fan readings in both balanced (while gaming) AND gaming modes. Some of us are willing to forfeit 5-10% fps for a noticeable decrease in noise.
