Apple damaged an iMac Pro while trying to repair it

Quinn of YouTube channel Snazzy Labs recently posted a video of Apple's poor repair of his iMac Pro. While attempting to repair a damaged VESA mount, the repair technicians at an Apple Store severely damaged the original stand of Quinn's iMac Pro and scratched the body of the machine in a few places.

That is toss it in the bin and give them a refurbished item that will have the same issue. Absolutely stellar isn't it.

"there has been an alarming decline in Apple's quality control of late". No, it has always been kind of crappy: white macbooks that fell apart, they still can't make power cables that don't break... Industrial design doesn't seem to include durability testing for Apple.

Shoddy support from these bohemoth companies. I have plenty of experience too from the big three.
Dell engineered accidentally scuffed the casing of one of my devices with a screwdriver while swapping a part out. HP engineer scuffed the bolts to the casing of a device during a routine part replacement operation. And finally best one, Lenovo engineer had no experience of changing a keyboard on a ThinkPad before. Then they couldn't put the device together properly again. Wonderfully s*** support.
