To find the notebook that is best suited for your individual demands is one thing, but what happens when there are software or hardware problems? How good are the business services really? We asked our readers about their experiences with the service and support from their favorite manufacturers. Find out about the outcome of our survey with more than 1000 participants here.

Tweaker

Awesome data. I love the presentation (but as of earlier, the graphs were still labelled in German).

I agree with Tweaker, GREAT data, I love it. But the graphs are still in german :(

I am no surprised about Lenovo, I had 2 devices, I had problems with both and the support was the worst that I ever had. In fact, the screw up the camera of tablet Lenovo Tab 10 Plus with the update to Android 7 and they never release a fix, all the people who bought that device lost the camera

I had one Lenovo Y470 long time ago. The keyboard didn't get installed correctly (it warp up in the middle and not flash to the surface). I only realized after a month while looking at other online review to understand the keyboard shouldn't supposed to look like that. So, I called the support and shipped back my laptop. one week to reach to them and one week to come back. When I opened up the box, the WHOLE speaker cover was lifted open. It's beyond acceptable. I called them, then again one week reach to them and another week back to me. When I use the CD-drive, I suddenly got the blue screen. The whole CD-rom wasn't locked in the place. The locking screw "mysteriously" missing. I called them and asked "I'm not going to wait for 2 weeks for a stupid screw." Initially, they refused. only after several calls I demanded refund, and they send me 2 screws next day...

NEVER LENOVO AGAIN! >:(

Well thank you notebookcheck, I'm on the hunt for a new laptop, I have an old Lenovo and was concidering them for the next one..  think I'll dodge that bullet.

I can attest to Lenovo having terrible phone customer service and long wait times. Even though I bought one of their better warranties I was shoved into the consumer support line and had to wait 30 minutes until a person was available.

Not surprised with Dell doing well on the survey. Good collection of anecdotal data. Thanks for sharing.

Dell has the worst support ever, Avoid their latest Highend mobile workstations, Unreliable, at all, i'm typing this up on my old dell precision m6500, while I brought a dell precision 7710, went through 2 motherboards, for a manufacturing defect. They cancel my warranty, made all types of excuses. and sent me to other abroad call centers (india/ norway) and I live in the us (oklahoma) while their main center is in Texas. SO AVOID DELL AT ALL COST, WELL AVOID ALL CPU SOLDERED ON MOTHERBOARD LAPTOPS ESPECIALLY IF YOU DO HEAVY WORKLOAD TASKS. (high end gpu/cpu) (render/gaming) will fail within a couple of months, and have to buy another $500 mobo. >:( >:( >:(

AVOID LENOVO AT ALL COSTS. My £1k+ Yoga 920 has died at 1 yr 3 weeks. No redress.  Lenovo operative - @Issues happen. Can happen out of the box, 1 week, 6 months. THAT'S WHY WE ISSUE A LIMITED WARRANTY'. With a business attitude like that why would you buy from them? Just wish I hadn't wasted £1k+ on their device. NEVER LENOVO AGAIN. >:(
