vielen dank für die wie gewohnt ausführlichen infos! warte lieber etwas länger auf reviews, wenn sie dafür um ein vielfaches brauchbarer sind als 99% aller anderen, die nur specs runterrattern. besonders das display interessiert mich immer.

frage, der stylus ist den fotos nach zu urteilen der active pen 1, mit rotem ende, war der wirklich mitgeliefert oder habt ihr den extra bestellt oder bereits besessen? laut angaben liefern shops den nämlich gar nicht mit, nur beim 15'' modell, und da gibt es den active pen 2 mit grauem ende (zumindest bei campuspoint).

apropos - habt ihr das 15'' auch schon in arbeit? brenne auf eure tests, besonders das fhd modell!

Thank you for your test. Please consider below precision:

a) Photo left side of PC: missed the Novo button at system description (when the computer is off, press this button to start the recovery system or the BIOS setup utility, or to enter the boot menu);

b) Photo right side of PC: USB connector is specified 3.0 not 3.1

c) Type C ports: one is specified compatible with USB 3.0 & Power-delivery, other is specified compatible with USB 3.1, Power-delivery, Display-Port & Thunderbolt - not both Thunderbolt;

d) SSD brand/model: Whatever SSD capacity you choose, you can receive a PM961 disk from Samsung or a XG4 from Toshiba (you can't opt). Only if you opt for a 1TB you are sure to receive a PM991;

e) Battery charging time: from the graph presented we see that battery charging time takes less then 2 hours to reach 100% full battery - not under 2.5 hours, as stated.

I also wait Lenovo YOGA 720-15IKB model to decide... It will come?

Wenngleich matt viel besser wäre, interessiert mich doch, genau wie die Anti-Glare-Beschichtung ist. Sind die Fotos bei vollem Sonnenschein entstanden oder war der Himmel diesig? Wie ist die Spiegelung zB im Vergleich zum Surface Pro 4?

gab es keine Probleme mit dem Touchpad? Man liest hier und da im Netz das es Treiber Probleme gibt. Ist das Touchpad wie beim HP Spectre X360 aus Glas?
Grundsätzlich finde ich es etwas irritierend, dass die Gesamtwertung höher als beim HP ist (85% zu 86%). Wenn ich mir die Daten bzw die Texte durchlese müsste eher das HP besser abschneiden. Ich schwanke derzeit zwischen beiden und bin ziemlich unentschlossen. Offensichtlich nehmen Sie sich nicht sehr viel... Akku, Display, Tastatur, Lüfterlautstärke, Laufzeit... sind beim HP zwar besser, aber dafür kostet es leider auch deutlich mehr und optisch gefällt mir das Lenovo auch besser.

i have 720-15 for 2 weeks now... it is actually very good. Same problem with turbo utilization and benchmarks but in practice it works well. I am using throttlestop to undervolt it and it is very quiet laptop. You can also turn on turbo with TS up to 3.5 Ghz, although some benchmarks are still not helped.

In practice, everything flies. Other than benchmark results, this laptop has far exceeded my expectations.

As to the touchpad, feels like nicer plastic and works really well, not a single problem. I had last years Spectre 360 and this actually works better. Keyboard is also nicer. Spectre is thinner, lighter and built from solid aluminium block, but Yoga 720-15 is not bad either.

Yes, thats the 13 inch device  :D
But the user spw owns the 15 inch model. I found no information of power delivery on this one.

there is only one usb-c port, on the right side. I would guess thats the one with 3.1, etc, etc. I dont use any docks so I would not be able to test the details.

In other news, fingerprint sensor works great, speakers are crap but possibly better than my Spectre 360 from last year.

Generally for the price, unless person plays games all the time, laptop seems best so far.

Big plus is vents that are on the back plus intake thats on the bottom. This actually works great when laptop is on tablet mode so you can put it on bed in tablet or tent mode and it wont block the vents. You also dont feel the heat on your hands unlike with side vents and generally level of noise is low (at least with TS).

From games I play only FM2017, unlike on Spectre 360 with Iris Pro, it runs flawlessly and laptop heats up under 70c so level of noise is still low.  Even on full load, fans are not too loud, they just humm in the background. Maybe thats why they dont activate turbo by default, since fans dont spin as hard as on other vacuum cleaners? I am not sure, but for me it is perfect.

Bei nur 310cd/m^2 und spiegelndem Display ist es in der Sonne noch erstaunlich gut zu lesen. Sollte die Anti-Glare-Beschichtung tatsächlich mehr als PR sein? Das wäre besonders für Lenovo ungewöhnlich.

Kleines Fazit von mir nach 2 Tagen mit dem Einstiegsmodell für UVP 999 €:

Optik: sehr schick
Verarbeitung: Bei meinem Modell nicht ganz so gut. Der Unterboden hat an 3 Stellen ungleichmäßige Spaltmaße. Das Display liegt auch nicht ganz gleichmäßig auf. Vorne an den Ecken ist die Base etwas höher. Ist aber nichts, was im Alltag auffallen würde. Apple Qualität ist trotzdem nochmal ne Ecke besser.
Tastatur: Mir einen ticken zu schwergängig, aber trotzdem ok.
Touchpad: Gibt nix auszusetzen, schön glatt und groß. Klappert bei mir auch nicht und das Klickgeräusch klingt gut.
Display: Gefällt mir super, hoher Kontrast und super scharf. Die im Test angesprochene ungleichmäßige Ausleuchtung kann ich nicht erkennen.
Lüfter: Anfangs als Windows noch nicht fertig konfiguriert war wirklich störend laut. Inzwischen aber nahezu durchgängig lautlos oder fast lautlos. Beim normalen Surfen usw hört man fast gar nichts.
Das Scharnier ist super, wobei ich es nicht wirklich als Tablet verwende. Dafür ist es einfach zu schwer.
Alles in allem für das Geld ein super Gerät. Mal abgesehen vom OS und der etwas bessere Verarbeitungsqualität kann ich keine wirklichen Vorteile beim 13" MBP erkennen. Und das ist unfassbare 700 € teurer. Für das Geld ist das Notebook absolut zu empfehlen.

An die Leute die das Notebook besitzen: Habt ihr mit dem Touchpad ein weiches Scrollen im Windows Datei Explorer? Bei mir springt der dort Zeilenweise wie mit einem Mausrad. Im Edge Browser, Im Startmenü oder in den neuen Systemeinstellungen ist jedoch alles weich. Bin mir leider nicht mehr sicher ob das von Anfang an war oder ob es eventuell am Creators Update liegt. Wäre cool wenn sich da jemand kurz melden könnte bevor ich Windows neu installiere.
