Lenovo T440p touchpad wear spot/ shiny orb

Hi Guys,

So i have the lenovo t440p and after a use of 2-3 weeks started noticing a wear or shiny orb like spot in the moddle of the touchpad. Eraser type fillings were coming off in the intital period of use. This was the same case with another T440p at house. Is this notmal? Please reply?
PS: its not oil as i tried cleaning it. Its definately wear just wanted to know if its normal or something to be concerned about.
