Hallo,
absolutely fantastic review. I have a pressing question that maybe you could answer me, if you still have the notebook with you.
I have been looking for a notebook/tablet combination, that allows me a lower resolution in notebook mode and a higher one when using the tablet. Why? Because I want to use the tablet as a reader and a high pixel density would improve the text. But when using the notebook, honestly, I prefer a resolution of 1280x720 over Full HD or even QHD. Because Microsoft Windows looks good in 1280x720 on a 12,5 inch display, all GUI elements are sufficiently large, I don't enjoy how small everything gets on Full HD. In my opinion Full HD is more suited for 21-24 inch monitors, not for 12,5 inches.
So I'm trying to find out how 1280x720 would look on the 2560x1440 display. Is the graphic driver clever enough to just quadruple every pixel, keeping the image sharp? Because more often, the driver is really stupid and interpolates regardless, making the image fuzzy, even when a clean pixel duplication is in order.
