CS reloaded. Over 10 years after the original, Global Offensive is a reboot of the successful multiplayer tactical shooter. Despite its age, the basic game idea is still very popular. The dusty Source Engine is both a curse and a blessing.

I've read in a few forums that Notebookcheck.net is "pro-NVIDIA" and your reviews and approximate positions always favor NVIDIA over ATI/AMD.
I never considered such arguments, but is embarrassing to see the chart in this review and in some of the most recent articles on this site.

Take the Desktop AMD 7770 a place "below" over the NVIDIA GTX675M but, curiously, it surpasses in every categorie.

And finally, look at the AMD 7970M vs NVIDIA GTX 680M... the NVIDIA "exceeds" the AMD card, even if the AMD card win in Medium, High and Ultra settings by 40 fps.. but NVIDIA win in Low settings by 2 FPS.

It's a shame that a good and realiable source of information commits these "errors" and not correct it.

I can assure you: The graphic cards in the game list are ranked by estimate or - when we have enough benchmarks and don´t forget to change the position - by power. In difficult situations, when the overall performance is similar (like GTX 680M vs. HD 7970M), we put Nvidia first, because of their better drivers. AMDs graphic-switch Enduro is very crappy at the moment on some notebooks (for example Clevo). In the "Benchmarkchecks" i rank  the graphic cards by the ultra-setting. The normal chart under the article i spoke before is NOT dynamic, so we have to change positions by hand. And for the HD 7770: The GPU performs under the GTX 675M in some games (http://www.notebookcheck.com/Benchmarkcheck-Guild-Wars-2.81294.0.html). I use AMD-GPUs myself, as you can see in the footer. But thanks for your feedback.

Can't place my finger on it,  but even all the updates they keep making that outdated source look still remains in the game made with that engine. Seems the stuff looks like its just been dipped in ambient occlusion then everything uses the lambertian shading method, this makes it like a cartoon.  Actually cs:go looks like Team fortress 2, but in a serious way. Team fortres 2 being the art style it is, is heavily lambertian shaded. I dont think they even use environment reflections in that game.

The thing is that, unlike most of other games, if your FPS cannot stay over 100 at all time, you will have a bad bad bad game experience! So, in other words, 80 or lower FPS won't give to a good time playing.
