Ab dem 4. Quartal werden die Snapdragon S4 SoCs der Generation Krait in 28 Nanometern auch bei United Microelectronics Corp. (UMC) hergestellt. Bisher ist Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC) der Hauptlieferant für die 28-nm-Chips.
