I was just about to comment the same thing. Glad to see others calling it out.

So, according to the author, they blame this on WFH policies (which benefits employees a lot and saves companies money) and not drug addicts, looting protected by law, sh*tting in the street, tons of homeless drug addicts & thieves. Since he mentions he lives in the area, I can already imagine what rotten values he defends to reach this conclusion. Maybe go and loot that store before it's gone and tell us later how it went

The west coast is out of business and now that money goes to red states like Texas, Florida,and Tennessee. Those places don't have a society full of theives and drug addicts. It will only get worse for the west coast. The glory days for blue states are long gone.

All in the name of, but is it real progressivism? I believe Nordic countries have progressive policies and also Singapore and I don't believe they're anywhere near as bad. I've been to San Fran quite a few times, it's a real dump. Nobody wants to live there.
