Just this is a good reason to go Framework, though it is on the expensive side.

I pre-ordered the Framework Strix Halo for the cooling too, not only for the warranty/repairability.
(I managed to get into the batch 2 line just 4 hours after it was announced, so hopefully I won't have to wait too long).
I doubt there will be any Strix Halo cooling out there that's better (extremely silent, and with easily replaceable parts), though I have to admit that it is on the bigger side of things: it's big to be a mini-PC, but smaller than the normal SFF-PC.

Let's see how GMKtec, Minisforum, etc. handle Framework's incursion in their territory.

No, the launching price of the X1 was about 1000 USD for 32 Gb 1 Tb

The X1 also has DP 2.1

Yeap, no after-sale services once you paid ... and overpriced products

There should be an after-sales warranty, aside from the product one.

Good luck getting them to deliver it. They stole 1K from me early this month and never did contact me about any aspect of the sale. Horrible company...Beware
