The AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D offers the exact same performance as its conventional counterpart while reaping the benefits of added cache in CPU-limited games. While the gaming performance is now on Ryzen 7 9800X3D-level, the added $50 markup vis-à-vis the Ryzen 9 9950X for not-so-tangible gains may warrant a closer look.
