The aesthetic will motivate nobody, based upon the promotional poster. Ugly androgynous female lead, embarrassing nose ringed demon guy. I guess the catgirl looks okay. In a world where millions of hours of old games exist, nobody will risk a game with such ugly "modern" character design. That's why Marvel Rivals is a success: very manly guys and very feminine women. Simple as. Both men and women like beauty.
