Frankly, I've owned almost ALL of them at one point or other. Coming from a 'feature phone' to Palm based devices to WinCE to Android to finally iOS.
While IDK how much support (or NOT!) new devices now get however my last 'Android' devices were 'one and done' top of the line from major vendors (not Google as they had not entered the market at that point with their own devices).
Back then Android devices had the rather NASTY habit of UNLOCKING the screen if you were answering calls with a Bluetooth headset. "Nasty" as if your device was packed away in a pocket or backpack once unlocked the 'juggling' during transport would often open countless APPS, over heat and drain your devices battery in the process. :(
I switch to iOS with the iPhone5 (Nether the 5,7 or 10 which I currently own unlock the screen when answering the phone with a BT headset!)
I keep the 'gear' icon on the bottom of the screen and turning on/off WiFi, GPS or Bluetooth has ALWAYS BEEN just as quick & easy as it was on Android devices.
Surely I don't recall WHAT iOS the iPhoneX (10) came with however here in 2025 it is STILL SUPPORTED. (running out soon!)
Sure "Android" based devices have FAR MORE user settings and custom features.
BIG DEAL. I have little or no need or use for them.
Primary it is a PHONE. There might be a HANDFUL of APP's I use.
Again - BIG DEAL.
