Xiaomi's new mechanical keyboard comes with display and metal knob

The latest mechanical keyboard from Xiaomi combines a compact layout with 71 keys with full-size arrow keys, RGB lighting, a display and a metal rotary control. Wireless and Bluetooth connectivity are supported, and the battery life is estimated to be a whopping 143 hours.

Majority of people are able to use both hands just fine, and they can type faster with eight fingers than with four (or five) as all numbers are nicely aligned in one row in quick reach. Sure people stubborn to learn touch typing or those who type with just three fingers (indexes to hit letters and numbers, and thumb to hit space) need a numpad. But they are already slow, so...

As an accountant I'm calling your a** out. Touch typing without a numpad is slower for 99% of people. Idc if youre 'special', I want my numpad.

Hey man, there is no shame in being slow, don't worry about that. After all, keyboards with numpads have to exist for slow(er) people too. And if you were not joking about being an accountant you will realise that 8 (fingers) is really more than 4 (fingers), so if you can touch type you can be basically twice faster.

This looks great. Has all the keys I want in a compact shape. Been wanting a ten keyless f-less keyboard. I like how they snuck the volume knob in there as well.

This keyboard isn't for you. But luckily there is a plethora of other keyboards out there to pick from. This form factor is rare and one I have been looking for at an affordable price.
