A new leak about the Nintendo Switch 2 now suggests that the gaming handheld will launch in March. This conflicts with the past leaks that have hinted the launch to be set for February and January 2025.

This article is full of inaccuracies, Nintendo never said it would launch before April, they said they would *ANNOUNCE* switch successor before the end of their fiscal year, which is end of March, they never said it would release before then.

Switch 2 will probably be announced in Jan-Feb for launch in Jun-Aug 2025. I don't see it happening any other way.

What

Nobody ever suggested or speculated about a January/February launch until you made it up in this article. We knew it was going to be ANNOUNCED before the end of the fiscal year (March 2025). If it is launching in March 2025, then its actually EARLIER than we expected because we expected it to take longer between announcement and launch. I dont know where you got your information but nobody had ever implied the console launching before the end of the fiscal year. There is a difference between announcement and launch.

Exactly! This site can't seem to understand the difference between "announce" and "launch".

Expect holiday season 2025 or 2026 for the actual "launch". :)
