Foldables have apparently failed to gain widespread adoption. On the contrary, the demand for such devices appears to be dwindling, at least according to recent reports from industry insiders and analysts. Samsung, in particular, seems to be expecting a remarkably lower demand for the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Flip7 in 2025.

Theyve failed to get widespread adoption because they're 2K+. I don't think anyone, including Samsung, was expecting them to fly off the shelves.

I would love a foldable but cannot afford that

Foldable are just ridiculously over complicated and over equipped with hardware. You don't need double or triple QHD screens, there's no point of a smaller high resolution screen and then one inside but bigger.

A foldable should be a single large square screen facing out. You put a single/dual camera as the "notch" which is also the front/rear camera. All the rest of the space should be there to put a 7000+MAH battery. Rely on an accessory flip case to protect the screens if you must.

Price would be halved from less complications and it would practical.

Overly complicated? Not really. You sound like someone that's never used a foldable phone.

How about pricing these right for a change as well as putting flagship cameras for the money?!
I'm quite sure people would buy these more if those two changes were applied.
