Tesla's Cybercab features a plethora of controversial design choices, all the way from its wheels, to its dihedral door mechanism. The company's chief designer has now shed light on the reasoning behind one such aspect of the car — its color.

The need to belittle all things Elon/Tesla as as "controversial/contentious... or unrealistic"... makes most "news reports" transparently editorial fluff.
