Elon Musk has promised that Tesla's Robotaxi or Cybercab two-seater will be its cheapest vehicle, starting at below $30,000 before federal subsidies, if there are any when it hits the roads.

When the cost per ride is half or less people will be lining up to use these vehicles. Cost competitiveness is the key.  Also they have a Hallmark signature of being golden which will be unmistakable for what they are.  Many people have derided Tesla for being a so-called failure but time and time again Elon has proven them wrong.
