TSMC is now believed to get production of its cutting-edge 2 nanometer (2nm) chipsets underway in earnest by the second half of 2025 - however, the next processor for top-end Android smartphones will not be among them. Hopefully Qualcomm makes the chip more efficient and reduces its peak power draw because the current 8 Elite runs hot and throttles badly.
