You can just mount it with the TOP attached to the monitor, problem solved.

Soon to be announced by Apple Marketing:

The optional $79.95 M4 Mac mini stand, which is 1 inch in height and raises the mini "for optimal cooling, and easier power switch access".

For the European market, there will be a separate product available for €89.95 that is 2.5 cm high.

So... daily. Leaving the computer on for days can make the system unstable.

Some people might also think it's not a big issue when you access the button in such a awkward way - but it is: I got a computermouse which had the DPI button on its bottom, and every time I switch the computer on and off, the DPI reset to its default setting. Thus I had to set the DPI every day. This became so annoying, that I finally left the DPI at its default setting.

The same will happen on this Mac Mini. Switching it on and off will become so annoying, that people will probably just leave it on. But maybe that's what Apple actually wants? Maybe it's on purpose. But I wouldn't like that. As I said, I experienced that this makes the system unstable over time. So it's absolutely idiotic to put the power button on such an idiotic place.

yea right what a piece of crap... what can you do with 16gbram? even chrome with 10 tabs will eat it in seconds, not to mention 256gb space and 0 upgrade possibility.... only members of the cult would buy this overpriced junk...

If you need to mount it on the back of a TV or monitor can't you just mount it with the bottom facing out?

Tell me you're not a Mac user without telling me you're not a Mac user.

Macs don't become "unstable" if you leave them on. There have been times where I left my previous M1 mini on for WEEKS. Guess what? It never became "unstable".

Most Mac users just sleep their computer instead of shutting it down because (thanks to Apple Silicon) they consume SO little power.

eventually you will pay for a monthly subscription for the ability to shut down.

I turn my Mac on and off 1-3x times per day. I want it locked and unable to be accessed, as well as I do video editing and find DaVinci resolve starts having issues when it's left on for too long. The button isn't a huge issue, but it will be something I deal with for the next 4 years on a daily basis. 250x per year x 4 years means that I will be pushing that button a minimum of 1000x. Yay.

Sorry ROTFLMAO!!!

Currently 2013 MBP with 8GB RAM and >160 tabs open in Firefox works just fine. :)

If the power button is such an issue for some why not just put the mini on its side...then the power button is right at your fingers.  Too simple?

just screw with screws the top plate underneath a wooden table, but make sure the rotten fishfruit logo facing the wood is still. now finally the power button will be accessible and free
