QuoteMost users leave their Mac powered on, ... So, in general, the power button is used only when users need to force restart or force shutdown the system
So... daily. Leaving the computer on for days can make the system unstable.
Some people might also think it's not a big issue when you access the button in such a awkward way - but it is: I got a computermouse which had the DPI button on its bottom, and every time I switch the computer on and off, the DPI reset to its default setting. Thus I had to set the DPI every day. This became so annoying, that I finally left the DPI at its default setting.
The same will happen on this Mac Mini. Switching it on and off will become so annoying, that people will probably just leave it on. But maybe that's what Apple actually wants? Maybe it's on purpose. But I wouldn't like that. As I said, I experienced that this makes the system unstable over time. So it's absolutely idiotic to put the power button on such an idiotic place.
