As TSMC prepares the 2nm process, customers should brace themselves for a significant price hike. Recent reports indicate that costs may nearly double compared to previous technologies.

Intel is nothing as compared to TSMC.

TSMC is best in class. They are so good that Intel approached them to build their latest Lunar lake chips, and the efficiency of lunar Lake is amazing.

TSMC 2N is not 2nm probably even not 5nm. 2N is just the name. Compare TSMC 5 vs TSMC 2 and then Intel 28nm vs Intel 14nm and you will see..

If average commenters only knew that process node nomenclature in the industry haven't had any direct relationship to gate physical dimensions for two decades
