I am a new TESLA owner.  I love the car but keep finding myself disgusted with Tesla the company.  The latest was after getting $500 credit for referring a friend to buy a Tesla, sorry buddy sometime they are more trouble than they are worth.  After I got my credits I found that I could not use them on Premium Connectivity because that is a subscription only option.  Tesla recently and arbitrarily decided that subscriptions are not covered anymore in the referral programs.  Of course they want you to put your credit card on file and forget about it so they can charge you indefinitely.

The first of my two other gripes was when they sent me a bill for repair of manufacturing defects.  In the long run they did not charge me after they did the work and they confirmed these were manufacturing defects, but the last thing you want to see on a car you bought last month is a repair bill to fix Tesla's issues.

My last gripe is with the tires.  There is no spare and Tesla cars are hard on tires.  These are heavy and fast vehicles which put a lot of stress on tires.  Tesla says they have you covered and will tow your car to their nearest service center at no charge if you have a tire problem, but they will charge you for the tire or the repair once they get around to you.  I finally said, "Never mind, I will carry a compressor and go to Discount Tire, thank you."  Still great cars but be forewarned that Tesla is a company with a big ego and schizophrenia.

On my 3rd set of tires on my Model Y LR.

Not hard on tires at all. I have 91,000 miles on the car. Averaging 48,000 per set.

Let up on the right foot Juan Fangio.

I had my first flat befort 3K miles.  Why have the capability if you don't use it?  Chill mode is is for Prius drivers!
