The new Audi Q6 e-tron models are a prime example why the brand's electric cars are not selling very well. Not only is it way more expensive than the Tesla Model Y, but it offers a similar range despite a much larger battery.

Audi wants petrol money with simple not as complex EVs :) that is an incorrect price.

Hack

By the vehicle configurations online from Tesla and Audi, model y long range all wheel drive and Audi q6 premium quattro have similar performance and range. These are the closest for head to head comparison.  Audi costs $68,454 with the pano sunroof added.  The Tesla costs $52,630 before the tax break, 45,140 after (setting aside gas savings which both vehicles offer but only Tesla slips into the pricing model).
How did you arrive at twice the price?
Is the Audi more in both cases, yes.  But not twice over in either.
It's also an objectively better vehicle.

Should Audi get more aggressive with pricing to compete?  Yes especially since it doesn't get the tax break.

Should your reporting improve tremendously?  Also yes, this article is misleading.

The Q6 has a larger cargo area as measured by Tesla Bjorn. The faster charging is also significant, it has a 10-80 average charge rate 80% higher. And Tesla will not be upgrading to 800V in the refresh as they would require significant redesign. And of course the Audi is better built and will last longer, not being built to the mantra of cutting any cost that won't result in warranty claims with no care for reliability after warranty ends.
