The Yoga Slim 7x 14 is Lenovo's new Multimedia laptop with a Snapdragon ARM processor. Compared to the Intel version of the G9 generation, the ARM model is equipped with a significantly better OLED display. So is the Yoga Slim 7x purposefully favored by Lenovo?

The conclusion that they are favouring this model seems to be flawed, it seems more like they expect demand for the ARM model to be lower, so are only offering one display option, while also expecting that anyone interested in that model are specifically after an ARM-based machine and won't be dissuaded by the premium for the screen.

SoC has Adreno DPU (Display Processing Unit) that is specifically optimized for handling OLED.

Or the fact that Intel battery life would go down the drain with an OLED display.  Quality of life improvement due to Snapdragon laptops being more power efficient.

Its refreshing that you can double from 16GB / 512GB of ram/flash to 32GB / 1TB for only about $100, a rock-bottom price for LPDDR5 RAM at 8433 Mhz.  Its a much cheaper upgrade than any other snapdragon and 10x cheaper than going from bottom to top config of a macbook.

Last night i tried out 30 laptops (keyboard, sound, screen, thickness, build quality) at best buy looking for a macbook air 16 replacement.  I REALLY was impressed by the 14.5" Lenovo Slim 7x. Best macbook air alternative form factor.  But not x86!  Today i ordered an asus zenbook S16 with zen5 which is very similar but is NOT for gaming (its too slim and too thermally limited to game at full power).
