A Linux patch has revealed an important detail about Intel's Arrow Lake-H CPUs. It will come with Lion Cove, Skymont and Crestmont cores in one package.

What I hope is that they don't burn out like what's happening with the Intel Core 13 and Core 14, and this Core 15 is coming out hastily, so I don't have much faith in it. If you want to buy a laptop or PC, either wait for Panther Lake, which will be all new, or for an AMD, which currently has AMD Zen 5 with its lower TDP, which has incredible performance and very low temperatures.

AHA

So, having spent the last couple of years completely confusing consumers with impenetrable CPU taxonomy that carries little hint of what the effective TDP for a given SoC will actually deliver, Intel is now doing the same to the OEMs! 😁
If Lunar Lake has TDPs from 17W to 30W and Arrow Lake will have traditional HX (+50W), H (c.45W) and U (15-28W) designations, how are OEMs supposed to choose which series to build their products around?
Or maybe it's easier to just go all in on Zen 5? 😂

Mr Majestyk

Please note Arrow Lake mobile does not use Battlemage for the iGPU. So Lunar Lake will be better in that area. Arrow Lake uses Alchemist+.

Lunar Lake is for premium light and thin laptops, so will be more expensive than Arrow Lake U.
