With the ProArt PX13, Asus has a new 13.3-inch 2-in-1 with powerful hardware in its range. In addition to the brand new AMD Zen 5 mobile processors, it also comes with a GeForce 4070 laptop. However, the OLED touchscreen only offers a 60 Hz frequency which raises questions given the high asking price.

What do you mean by "for what actually is inside". It's literally the fastest 13" laptop in the world, and doesn't have an Intel defective CPU inside, which is another plus!

What did you expect it to have inside?

The only relevant "minus" is on the outside: the 60 Hz screen.

I don't know, why would a desktop CPU be inside of a 13" laptop?

Such a strange thing to ask.

Equally strange as pointing out that a plus here for this laptop is that it doesn't have those desktop RAPTOR LAKE (not mobile!) CPUs inside:

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Unless you claim that Meteor or Lunar Lake are defective, that's a different and yet-to-be-told story...

Are you from the past?

Yeah, "several laptops", nothing confirmed or verified at all. I used to have an AMD laptop, it died. It must mean that all AMD-based laptops are dying, right? Like AMD, Apple or Qualcomm are not known to have officially confirmed design flaws at all in their mobile chips...

Yes, I'm aware or that Mr. heffeque, but the whole article you linked is referring to this exact and particular comment: https://www.reddit.com/r/hardware/comments/1e13ipy/comment/lcyythb/

I'm not on anyone's side (Intel, AMD...), the situation isn't good, but I just find it intriguing how people will worship AMD and ignore their issues but immediately point those same/similar issues with everyone else, so in Intel, Apple and now even Qualcomm with their X Elite and X Plus chips.

heffeque

Ignore their issues?

How so?

Right now their issues are paper launches and drivers not being up to par on launch day.

Seeing how efficiency is getting better (not worse) on AMD processors, things seem to point in the right direction.

On Intel's side of issue list it doesn't look that good: processors that need more power each generation (eating on efficiency and heat management), and crashes when power is needed. That doesn't seem like it's going on the right direction.
