Smart rings, with the Oura ring at the forefront, have steadily increased in popularity. Samsung's entry into this market holds promise, but it is not without its challenges. Whether the Galaxy ring will be a health tech innovation or another disappointment remains to be seen. If you're considering purchasing one, here are some key factors to keep in mind.

Can't believe they want to ruin a potentially good product with a subscription. This will be dead on arrival.

InWhatDoYouTrust

If they want to charge for a subscription, they need to lower the price. Top dollar + subscription = no dice.

no they are 100% tripping if they think people are going to pay a monthly subscription for this. I almost feel like this article is bait or something cuz then whenever they reveal what it costs and what it's made of it'll suddenly seem reasonable? they're crazy if they think people will spend $350 for a plastic ring that they then pay $10 a month for. nobody is going to do that they're just going to get an Apple watch.

I cannot believe Samsung would make a plastic ring please either silver, gold, platinum would be the way to go. If plastic will go for other options available. Finally no subscription as well.

Cheers

Hopefully it'll be more accurate for the data it measures than their watches are. Samsung watches are halfway just randon number generators to wear on your wrist.
