Mini PC maker hints at possible launch timeline of Zen 5 AMD Strix Point processors

AOOSTAR, known for its mini PCs, has hinted at the potential launch timeline of the upcoming AMD Strix Point mobile processors. As the company has said in its Discord channel, the next-gen Ryzen processors are expected to launch in August. These CPUs are expected to feature new Zen 5 architecture.

There's never been amd laptop launch with any real volume. They've design wins but what's the point when not shipping enough / any units.

Oryon is a bit funny. Despite claims of it being significantly cheaper to produce than the competitors, the laptops that it's in aren't any cheaper.

To me, it's been among the worst years for laptops. Not interested in mobile arrow lake at all, though Lunar Lake does seem interesting. Then again, it's Intel here who've been failing for 7 years straight, so I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Great year for computers that are and for those to come.
We must remind future buyers that AMD already has the Zen 4 Series 8000 hawk point on the market, which surpasses Intel and is having a resounding success, such as the MINISFORUM V3 product with 1TB = $1,200 and with almost 1 million units sold in just 2 months a success on YouTube and professional computing social networks.
And possibly these products like MINISFORUM V3 will lower the price even further and in a few months to only $1000. The future is mobility and tablets have arrived and the market with the new smaller processors, lower temperatures and more efficient will be a success.
