The stupid population does not read the rules according to which this is not an autopilot, but a cruise control that requires 100% of the driver's attention in 100% of cases.

Deceitful Musk and businessmen are deceiving the stupid population of the world and through the death of fools on their blood (deservedly) debugging the code.

And some scoundrel-criminal officials and politicians contribute to this lie and create a priori illegal by-laws.

Meanwhile, sales of unprofitable electric vehicles are falling around the world, where the theft of all taxpayers' money is being curtailed in favor of those who "buy" electric vehicles with subsidies and subsidies from the state treasury, i.e. taxpayers' money.

Let's also not forget that a lot of the corrupt, paid press writes about "autopilot" without quotation marks and clarification that this is a lie, i.e. creates a deliberately criminal opinion that the future has already arrived among the stupid part of the population, and this is the overwhelming majority of the planet's population. This is exactly how a fraudulent business is conducted - if it is not given a tough right-wing rebuff and punishment of all parties interested in the scam, including the owners of the media. Dozens of public sentences against such swindlers and the entire corrupt press and officials will immediately subside if they have to be harshly responsible for unconfirmed lies thrown into the crowd of fools and the resulting deadly consequences on the roads.

I currently have a rental car model x with the full self-driving feature.
Europe is absolutely right to ban this. It is scary, and dangerous. I have had this car for a week, I have tried to use FSD on every drive, and it has tried to literally kill me on every single drive. I've never gone more than about 5 km without having to take over to prevent a collision. And that's not even talking about the fact that it can't handle playground zones, or yellow lights. And all the other uncomfortable things like coming to an abrupt stop in the middle of a freeway for no reason.

What's really sad, is that I have a model S with autopilot at home, and I love it. It is not self-driving, but never claimed to be. It works very well, it does lean centering and adaptive cruise better than anything else on the market. How they got it so wrong when they went to FSD I have no idea!

Don't understand how Tesla can sell FSD to other car makers. It can't make FSD work on its own Cybertrunk yet.

I'm not understanding the autopilot hatred. No, it's not autonomous driving. With very little user input, it greatly reduces a drivers workload. I've never experienced anything like it and the technology is amazing.

Because the majority of the population, and I'm sure even you, criminally reduce their attention for a while, although Tesla's rules directly tell you not to reduce your attention 100% of the time, simply relying on "maybe it will pass." As happened with the Boeing pilots, where such an "autopilot" simply crashed the planes.

I find it quite difficult to read when people don't understand the obvious. It's hard for me to think that such people were given the right to drive a car, and for some, even an airplane...

When it comes to Full Self-Driving tech, I get why some folks might be hesitant to let go of the wheel. Sure, stats are showing FSD has better driving records than humans. But it's not just about the numbers, right? It feels weird to think about handing over control to a computer, even if it promises to keep us out of trouble. What it boils down to is trust and that feeling of wanting to be in charge, which is pretty human. The trick to getting more people on board with FSD? Manufacturers need to be super clear about how it works and what it can do, all while making sure we're listening to those very human concerns. It's all about finding that sweet spot where tech meets trust.

NikoB, you bigger noob, its named literally named autopilot. So its autopilot, regardless of your subjective understanding of what should an autopilot funcionality be.
