NVIDIA unveils LATTE3D text-to-3D generative AI model dubbed “virtual 3D printer”

NVIDIA's AI research team has unveiled a new generative model that can turn text prompts into 3D models within a second, ready (or at least close to it) for applications such as game development, design and robotics. So far, the model has only been trained to generate "animals and everyday objects", but more categories can be added. The near-instant speed should transform many workflows.
