I love my playdate, i think its lowkey one of the most innovative consoles since the switch. It has all the characteristics of a "fun" console, it doesn't take itself too seriously but the device itself is seriously fun. Its goofy and brings back retro vibes but at the same time the hardware is really smooth and efficient. The OS is the craziest part about it, its a really playfully designed OS everything always moves in really animated ways and the noises are spot on. For something thats monochrome LCD the refreshrate and movement on it are incredible.
