Sorry this seems ludicrous. How can an OLED have such a pathetic and frankly useless HDR 400 offering. HDR 400 is not in any way shape or form HDR and it's a disgrace that VESA allows such a pathetically low peak nit value to be called HDR. Most OLED's I know should offer HDR1000 at least and the bare minimum spec for mini-led should be HDR600.

OLED screens actually cannot reach high peak brightness. Samsung mitigates that with Quantum Dots. I am guessing they will release QD monitors with respectable HDR levels and eye watering prices.

/*To add to this, the new Odyssey displays (including the G6) will feature two HDMI 2.1 ports*/
If there is no support for FRL6, the ports are fake and do not comply with HDMI 2.1 specifications. And if so, it means there are no lossless modes above 60Hz with 30-bit color (HDR).

DP1.4 does NOT support HDR at 120Hz frame rate in lossless modes.

Thus, the main thing buyers need to find out is whether there is FRL6 support on HDMI ports. If not, only a fool would buy this craft...

If there is a TB4 (usb-c) input port, it is extremely important that the TB4 output on your laptop/PC is connected directly to the discrete chip. If this does not happen, you will dramatically lose fps, because... all output will go through the processor's built-in gpu.

G-Sync will not work on HDMI ports.

On HDMI ports, HDR lossless mode will work in games only if you have a FreeSync Premium Pro certificate and on your laptop/PC and monitor for HDMI inputs.
