I'm not very sorry for the fools who will spoil their own vision and the nervous system associated with it, for the sake of "endless black", but with low-frequency PWM and other jambs of AMOLED technology - lower real color resolution, burn-in, poor color accuracy (and rapid shift colors by time) and of course endless glare on laptop and monitor panels. In fact, Apple admitted with this news its complete technological defeat in an attempt to make microLED in a few years - this task turned out to be too tough for its researchers. Flicker-free, matte, with accurate color rendition, excellent viewing angles and a response of no more than 2-3ms and with a huge burnout resource (from 20k hours minimum for mobile screens). Instead of microLED and at least eye-safe IPS/VA, they gave up and switched to AMOLED like everyone else, not caring about people's health. In addition, this is beneficial for them - such screens quickly fade and therefore the equipment requires much more frequent replacement.
