Garmin rolls out new features to Forerunner 255 smartwatches in public update

Garmin has announced a new public update for the Forerunner 255 smartwatch series, version 17.24. The software brings various features to the wearable, including some that were discovered by users earlier this month before any announcement from Garmin. There are also new activities and sleep insights for smartwatches.

So far, useless update ghat actually has messed up my custom workout feature. My custom workouts used to show up under all the options, run, Row, and bike. After the previous update, they stopped showing up under bike. Now, they're back under bike, but not run. It's ridiculous that I'd have to build separate custom timed workouts for each type of exercise. 😡
