OUKITEL has begun selling the WP23 Pro, a rugged smartphone based around a 10,600 mAh battery, a 6.52-inch display and a UNISOC Tiger T606 chipset. Available in three colours, the OUKITEL WP23 Pro also runs Android 13 and costs less than US$170 at launch.

This looks very interesting!

Outside of possible lack of Android security updates and wireless charging what is there NOT to like about this inexpensive cell phone?

Personally, if your not going to be using cpu/gpu hungry apps+games a more modest chipset is perfectly fine and when coupled with a decent sized battery the user might expect to have fairly decent battery life while using the device.

Frankly there was a time when OEM's used to brag about HOW LONG you could use a device between charges - rated in both hours of screen/talk time and standby.

Not all phones really need or require the fastest hardware to be attractive.
