Samsung has reportedly augmented its ISOCELL series of mobile device image sensors with new variants of up to 440MP in size. The unprecedentedly high-res new camera component is slated to enter mass production in 2024 along with its new siblings. They are believed to include a new 50MP model with specs to rival the cutting-edge 1-inch Sony IMX989.
