Elon Musk confirms Tesla may lower prices yet again as it cuts costs with billions in tax credits and lithium discounts

Tesla could earn up to US$1 billion just from the federal battery tax credits alone this year, and will add another billion or so in cost savings from the drastic reduction in the price of lithium and other metals. Thus, Elon Musk is now on record saying that Tesla will cut prices again, if needed.

Thank the feds once again for Tesla's success... if Musk leaves I'd actually consider getting a Tesla... until then, not a snowball's chance in hell I'd support that scumbag.
