Slowing RTX 4090 sales and smash hit RX 7900 XTX could cause Nvidia some concern as report claims last-gen GPUs dominate sales

The 7900xt is available for $870 now (see the 'biostar' mba card on newegg for that price, it's in stock).  At that price, the 7900xtx is exactly 15% more expensive, and just about exactly 15% faster.   The concerns about the price/performance of the 7900xt are no longer relevent.

Frankly, all 4 flagship cards do a great job at 1080p, 1440p, and 4k.  Turn on ray tracing, and all 4 do a great job at 1080p, 1440p, but not 4k.  If you squint it's hard to see a difference, in which case the 7900xt is the best deal of all!

$1599, MSRP, 4090 MSI gaming trio, in stock on NewEgg, limit 1.  next question?

Quote from: Dale on February 01, 2023, 06:27:49Honestly this is a ridiculous statement. Go buy a 4090 right now. Try, go ahead, I'll wait.. Oh, you're back, couldn't find one? Because they are ALL SOLD OUT. Slowing down? Lol. Is that why I've been trying for months to get one but can't?

My local Microcenter has 11 in stock. My local Best Buy also has two other models in stock for pickup as well. Maybe it is just where you are at but I see them on shelves all the time.
