"Stickers greatly decrease my likelihood of purchase, very negatively impact my opinion on the manufacturer of a device, result in several questions to the manufacturer before deciding about a purchase and related to the possibility of complete and risk-free removal, and thereby might cost the manufacturer more time than is worth income from using the stickers. If the manufacturer fails to answer at all, sufficiently or convincingly, I do not buy. If it turns out that, despite promise of removability, stickers and their adhesive cannot be completely removed without damaging the device, I undo the purchase. If there are any stickers on the device, I would spend much time and effort including heating to remove them hopefully without damaging it. The fear of having to do so and the unclear outcome are part of the reason for decreased likelihood of purchase."
