The Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 Ti launches at a time when gamers are facing a purchasing conundrum. The Asus TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 4070 Ti is among the bevy of partner offerings for the AD104 GPU. Nvidia claims that the RTX 4070 Ti can match up to the RTX 3090 Ti in terms of performance. We evaluate this claim and also compare how AD104 stacks up against competing AMD Radeon RDNA 3 offerings in our review.

As to v3.3 Classroom CUDA, do the Studio drivers solve the issue?

What are dB noise values for the two BIOSs?

Otherwise, thank you for the interesting test!

Linus Tech Tips, 4070TI, Blender 3.4.0, unstated drivers:

Time, Classroom, Junk Shop, Monster, model. Guessed some pixelated digits.

0:50 3215 3116 6600 4090
1:08 2404 2290 4861 4080
1:28 1876 1680 3791 4070TI
1:31 1675 1925 2964 3090TI
1:51 1341 1572 2359 3080
2:29 1000 1183 1812 3070TI

Therefore, except for Junk Shop in 4070TI, Blender 3.4.0 seems to work fine for at least Gaming or Studio drivers. Blender 3.3.0, however, seems to be buggy at least under current Gaming drivers, the fault being with Blender or Nvidia.

Have updated the review with noise and power measurements.

There's a typo in the headline, it says $100 when based on the price of the card it should read $50 since this one isn't being sold at Nvidia's bs MSRP.

Yeah, the review embargo lifted a day before the sales embargo, so the prices weren't provided at the time of publication. I have changed the title reflecting the $50 difference later, though it might not possibly reflect in search engines.
