I use an Asus with 300 nits at 27% brightness even in a room where the sun shines. This is more than enough if you or your daughter has an undamaged fundus.
In no case do not settle for AMOLED, especially for a child. They are all harmful to the nervous system, especially the emerging one.
Today there is nothing better than IPS with a native contrast of 1500: 1 (and preferably with an A-TW polarizer, but they were not even installed in monitors due to the fact that LG bought the company that owns this technology, according to the information I have, and shelved for 10 years. And only recently she made 27-32 the first monitors with this polarizer in 10 years, but there are no such laptop matrices, as far as I know).
In AMOLED, the burn-in resource is 2 times less, flickering at a low frequency (which is most harmful to the nervous system) and, most often, the actual color resolution is sharply lower. And of course they all sparkle wildly, because. all AMOLEDs are glossy.
An example of a good option for the eyes is the Legion Slim 2021 which has a luxurious 15.6" 4k IPS with 1500:1 and 100% AdobeRGB. It weighs 1.9kg. A great model for both film and text - ideal for children.
Unfortunately, Lenovo has worsened the parameters in new models and you can no longer buy such a luxurious screen in their models.
