Im wesentlichen kann ich Notebookcheck in so gut wie allen Punkten recht geben und ich muss sagen im großen und ganzen ist es auch ein TOP Gerät.
A "top device" with an infamous 7000:1 contrast ratio instead of the typical 1,000,000:1 of OLED? And yet it still flickers? A "top device" with an infamous 7000:1 contrast ratio instead of the typical 1,000,000:1 of OLED? And yet it still flickers? With infamous speed RAM, when a competitor from Dell has 35-50% faster RAM with slower lpddr5 chips on the spec? Do you really understand what you are writing about? Don't make fun of my slippers.
Yes i with "TOP" i meant in general, that it's a good device. You have to consider, that my config "just" cost 1380€ (with student discount). If you compare it with the Yoga 9i with AlderLake, you will get the same better batteryliftime, less fannoise and a better gpu-performance. Additionally the multicore is the same and better on longrun (simulation, rendering, etc.) when the AlderLake begin to throttle.
You shoul watch out, maybe the contrast of 1:7000 was a mearuing failure or it's an other technology which consumes instead a little bit less power. For me it's really black, there is no ghosting, no backlight bleeding or any other issues. Please look a read a lot of tests. "All" Smartphones and Notebooks with OLED-Panels i have seen on notebookcheck have flickering. I read, that it's needed to get a good lifetime. Additionally sometimes it's not the same flickering like a IPS-flickering. E.g. look on the test from Samsung Galaxy Book (2) Pro 360.
I have seen your comments on the english site. You are comparing the e.g. the consumer Yoga 7 with a mor expensive business Thinkpad! I had the Yoga 9i, and the AlderLake was awfull... A friend of me has the TigerLake Thinkpad Yoga. It cost over 2200€ and then the keys rubbert into the glas of the display.
But if you want the better decision Rembrandt, there is no Thinkpad as Convertible. You can buy a typical Notebook with Rembrandt from Lenovo, the Thinkpad Z, but i costs 2700€. Today every compact mobile device has some issus. The more robustness is for me not that case. I have the inssurance for 4 years and then i will buy a new one. Maybe i will sell it after 3 years and the new owner is for 1 year secure.
Maybe you are not amused, that you bought a expensive Thinkpad with an heating Alder Lake, but for 1400€ the Yoga 7 is a TOP device.
