This is a completely ordinary cynical practice of ASUS marketers and, for example, Lenovo - to give a review an option that 99% (or even more) buyers will never see in stores.
About 2 years ago I corresponded with the American ASUS for buying TUF with a good panel (according variants in specs) and according to openly stupid unsubscribes of the us managers there quickly realized that they were not going (asus) selling such options neither in the USA nor anywhere else.
Lenovo has even more sophisticated tactics - in some business series it simply does not write color spaces of panel in PSREF, but at the same time indicates 300 nit brightness, although many inexperienced buyers are already known from experts (like me) and think that 300 nit of brightness mean automatically 72%+ NTSC color space. But now this is far from the case..
Remember how Asus brazenly deceived buyers in 2020/2021 TUF, selling fake 120/144Hz panels with disgusting color space (45-46% NTSC only) and a real slow response. What has changed today? They actually used this site to promote public opinion, that the new series was a success version (with a small such nuance he-he - with screen only 2560x1440), but in stores there will be a completely different compote...
In general, consumers are deceiving as they can, and such reviews, with special options for gadgets for a good overview, are just called to confuse the townsfolk, among which incorrect rumors begin to spread that this model is good. But this option, they will never see in retail as their ears...
I can tell the even more sophisticated tactics used by the Xiaomi ...
