A group of scientists and engineers are heading on a solar energy-powered electric car trip along the 9,380 miles of the Australian coast on an off-grid charging proof-of-concept project. They will be retrofitting a Tesla Model 3 with new printed solar cells to test how long it will take it to go the distance.
