One Timothy McKimmy has filed a lawsuit against the OpenSea NFT exchange platform claiming that they had their pricey Bored Ape Yacht Club series NFT stolen without any repercussions. The Bored Ape #3475 NFT, they argue, is rarer than Justin Bieber's US$1.3 million Bored Ape, while demanding compensation.

My favorite NFT is my "I Own AMC NFT" anyways. It's about principle. I like your post brother you understand enough to be able to bash it unlike the others who are posting thetoric from their favorite youtuber and late night talk show hosts. It's more the collectible aspect, much better than aspect of nfts being actual currency. pokemon gen 1 was worthless, now gen 1 is worth hundreds of thousands. Same with NFTs in the future

How much do you think a JPG from the 90's of a first gen Pokemon card is worth today? Because that's what you're arguing for. There's fundamentally no difference between your JPG and another person's. If you can't distinguish that from tangible, physically impossible to reproduce items, then I'm sorry.

You do realize many if not most people don't give a rat's a** about owning things and showing them off, only about using them? If it sounds the same, who cares.

Your precious NFTs, baseball cards and rare vinyls are only worth anything because there is a bunch of other retards with more money than brains obsessing over them. Instead of doing something glorious, or at least good, collectors give in to harmful obsession, and waste time, effort & money on things which serve no function, often released as a quick money grab - both NFTs and baseball cards are exactly that. It's the epitome of mindless consumerism, and should be shunned upon, not endorsed.
