Heute hat Qualcomm offizielles Infomaterial zum Snapdragon 778G i5G ns Netz gestellt und damit den neuen 5G-Premium-Midrange-Chipsatz offiziell gelauncht. Doch wie schon beim Snapdragon 780G vor einigen Wochen, ist die Seite mit allen Specs nun wieder offline und wird wohl erst in wenigen Stunden wieder zugänglich sein.

This will use TSMC's 6N process, which is almost as dense (Tr/mm^2) as Samsung's 5N, which begs this question: Is this Qualcomm's silent way of fixing the 780G's very high power consumption when under high load due to Samsung's bad 5N process?
This 778G also has the Cortex-A78 cores, and despite not having the same configuration, it should still be possible to compare it against the 780G's ones to see how the power consumption under high load has hopefully improved.
