Auch in Deutschland wird auf dem Handy so viel gespielt wie noch nie. Der Umsatz mit Spiele-Apps auf Mobilgeräten wie dem Smartphone wächst im Jahr 2020 auf rund 2,3 Milliarden Euro, der Marktanteil von Spiele-Apps zum Kauf sinkt allerdings erneut. Der deutsche Games-Markt ist 2020 auf 8,5 Milliarden Euro gewachsen.
