The iPhone 13 series will be thicker with updated notches and camera humps: new leak

Mac Otakara is quick on the draw in 2021 with its Apple rumors. The latest concerns the next generation of iPhones and how they will look. These devices will apparently still have a notch, although it will shrink somewhat in this new generation. They may also turn out not to be as slim as the 12 series, although this might well be no bad thing.

Really 2 things I'm hoping for if they want an upgrade wave for our family.  Touch and FaceID in the same device.  And 5x optical zoom and that means 5x35mm equiv base not 5x wide base.  There are designs with 10x optical out there, 5x should be very possible to accomplish even with Apple's usual eye for perfection.  I weigh this higher than going for 3nm chips or any possible added cores, even more 5G channels (of which the genuinely fast ones are just so low in range as to be nearly pointless for mobile devices).
Will they do these things?  Seems unlikely given how far along they must be for the 21 models.  So probably we'll be just fine with current devices.  We'll see.
