I would have expected NBC of all places to know better. Higher MP does
not automatically mean better. The Nord's camera may very well be better, but not just because of that.
Also, I'm disappointed that this article didn't mention the SD slot. I've been wondering for weeks if they were going to include one, and was concerned when I saw there would only be a 128GB model and dismayed when this article made it appear that was it, meaning this phone wouldn't be an option for me. I had to check elsewhere, but now that I see that OnePlus finally decided to include it, this phone looks like a almost great option. I wish it were a little smaller and lighter, but the biggest holdup I have, which unfortunately will likely keep me from buying it, is the rear-mounted fingerprint reader. If they couldn't do an in-display one for cost reasons, i would have at least preferred a side-mounted one. Rear-mounted means it's useless when the phone is lying down or in the car mount.
